Accounting and Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a strong, motivated, resourceful accounting specialist to assist in the growth of our business on a full-time basis by helping new and existing customers successfully improve their financial reporting and accounting operations.

Working remotely (this is a home-based position with little-to-no travel anticipated), you will undertake a mix of projects working with customers’ existing accounting/ERP systems and/or Mondial. Individual projects may range from full-time, multi-month situations with a single customer to shorter-term engagements for multiple customers depending on demand.

Overall, your main duties will be to ensure that the customer experience exceeds expectations, and that you contribute to Mondial’s global success through the attainment of a stellar reputation for both product quality and customer service.

Your Primary Responsibilities

As an accounting and finance professional, you will oversee customer requirements for improved accounting and reporting and ensure they are successfully implemented in line with documented goals through: 

  • Engaging with customers during the sales cycle to discuss service delivery,
  • Planning project engagements and agreeing required resources,
  • Actively managing projects at all points of the cycle,
  • Educating key users about the Mondial solution and how it works,
  • Undertaking product set up, user education, and go-live tasks as required,
  • Building and testing financial reports to agreed specifications,
  • Working with customers to complete and test required output,
  • Managing customers proactively and seeking additional opportunities for engagement
  • CPA
  • Build accounting and financial reports
  • User Testing
  • Specializing on report writer
  • Accounts Reconciliation
  • Specialize in Platform
  • Mondial (Income statement and Balance Sheet)
  • Compare Mondial Reports to other platforms

 

Expected results and deliverables

You would be expected to contribute to:

  • Generating customer referenceability through the provision of outstanding service in general accounting and financial reporting,
  • Learning Mondial’s solution and value-creation and incorporating it into the customer’s environment when, where and if appropriate,
  • Meeting and/or exceeding billing targets on a quarterly and annual basis,

 

Your Skills and Competencies

We would expect the successful candidate to offer the following attributes:

  • Absolute sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction,
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills,
  • Professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented,
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently with minimum supervision,
  • Ability to communicate with C-level executives and senior business managers,
  • Strong accounting experience in at least one of the following ERP systems: SAP Business One, Plex, Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online
  • Experience in the design or management of financial reports using one of these systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
  • Professional accounting qualification a big plus
